UK route development

In the first quarter of 2006, SDV International Logistics in Hong Kong started developing the UK route to supplement the already-developed and successful French and German trade-lanes.

UK route is very interesting as UK comes in the second ranking in terms of air shipment volume ex Hong Kong and a long way to France.

Firstly it was agreed to start with the development of air export product but never to incline the importance of the other modes. There have been notable wins already in the first 4 months particularly in Hong Kong which has given a great kick-start to the sales campaign.

Finally SDV International Logistics in Hong Kong is in the process of recruiting a UK specialist local sales executive to further enhance the development in 2006. This person will work closely with the UK route development manager to promote UK profile within SDV International Logistics and to the market in general.
